Years of Shipping Experience
Jose Dacumos is a self-described “freight machine”. With 15 years of experience in the freight industry, Jose has acquired a great depth of knowledge of LTL, TL, Intermodal Rail, Van, and the specialized equipment area. Jose began his career at a small freight company in 2000. This was the beginning of Jose learning the ins and outs of freight forwarding, domestic Canadian and U.S. ground, air and ocean freight, and moving oversize heavy haul flat deck freight throughout North America.
Jose has worked at Moto for 2 years. He started off by moving domestic Canadian dry van orders – truckloads, LTL, and rail. Jose has recently moved exclusively to the Pricing Department as the manger. He is now responsible for quoting all Canadian and U.S. Dry Van and Intermodal shipment. He also creates detailed pricing tariffs for new and existing customers.
Not only is Jose committed to the Moto team in the office, but also outside of business hours he is part of the Moto Kickboxing team. This team takes classes twice a week keeping them fit and giving them a chance to beat each other up from time to time.
Jose is committed to the details in all the work he performs. With his high attention to detail he ensures that all shipments are priced and delivered smoothly.
