B.C. flood recovery continues, but it’s hardly trucking as usual

The British Columbia road system is hardly back to normal for trucking.

The province was lucky to get the Coquihalla open to trucking traffic before winter set in, but the road is now experiencing delays due to heavy snow and poor road condition maintenance.

Trucking freight rates are still reflecting the extra transit time and poor road conditions for the interim. The US has extended its special terms for letting Canadian trucking companies transit through the US to March 31st due to this crisis.
